Ajay Gour

Ajay Gour is a Master Mariner who has worked on chemical carriers and crude & products tankers and who started his career in 1987. He has worked for INTERTANKO since 2007 providing operational and regulatory advice to members including support on all chemical tanker and vetting matters. In his role, he helps guide and develop regulations and best practices used by the members of INTERTANKO and OCIMF. He is the secretary of INTERTANKO’S Chemical Tankers and Vetting Committees. In his role he is required to maintain and manage close working relationships with industry bodies and different stakeholders including flag state and port state authorities.
