Guy Main FICS

Guy Main is a Senior Associate at the law firm Holman Fenwick Willan LLP.  His speciality is handling all aspects of damages in Admiralty claims, particularly collisions. He also advises on General Average matters as well as the practice of chartering and the sale & purchase of ships and related shipping matters.  He approaches all issues with a commercial mindset having spent 18 years prior to joining HFW as a shipbroker.  During that time, he concluded numerous deals for the sale and purchase and charter of a wide range of vessels. 

Guy lectures regularly to clients on aspects of damages and General Average.  He also lectures to METL students on legal principles and aspects of shipbroking practice.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
